We started at the History Museum in Bloomington, where the stunning architecture and grand staircase created the most beautiful backdrop. I could have spent hours there with them! Then we headed to Ewing Manor, where we met up with their adorable pup, Yadi, for some cuddles and a hint of early spring blooms.
Spending the evening with these two felt like hanging out with old friends. I already can’t wait to see them again this winter for their wedding day!

Over the last 15 years of documenting my couples on the best day of their lives, I’ve met so many amazing people who quickly turned into friends. I hope that can be our story, too.
On the rare occasion that I’m not capturing a special moment, you can catch me spending my time with an incredible man who makes me laugh until I cry. I also tend to believe that a house is not a home until paw prints paint the floors. And admittedly, I cry at most movies, especially the romantic ones. Editing days consist of Dr. Pepper and take-out, while days off require country drives and visiting local wineries to listen to live music and take in a golden sunset. Hands down, it’s one of the best parts about Central Illinois.
